QTX - Haze 3

Post by av-shack »

Hi, I can't get the QTX haze 3 to adjust the haze output. It's either full fan or nothing. Could you please tell me what it should be? Thanks

The manual you've posted just has
Channel 1 Fan (0-100%)
Channel 2 Haze output (0-100%)

That seems to be the only info provided. Hypothetically if you just put the fader at 50%, the fan should go at 50% speed, there's nothing more complicated than that.

Do you have a fixture profile you can use?

If the fader is at 50% and the fan is still running at max, sounds like it's an issue on the hazer rather than in the software

Hi, Thanks for the reply, What seems to happen is having a fader set at 6% or less is nothing but 7% up is full on. I don't mind that if i could figure out which profile icon would make the flow change. I've tried lots but none seem to make the flow change.

The icon won't make any difference. The hazer doesn't see anything more than a DMX value between 0 and 255. You could have it be something completely off like a colour wheel channel, it still would behave the same. The icon is just for your reference
