Perfect, tested and done! That is allot less clicks for the end of song lights. Actually, that is much better than a release all button because it avoids the momentary blackout. That way the band can set up. Thanks again for all the great tips!

While we are on the subject. Is there a way to set the master intensity, instead of duplicating scenes with the lower leves and duplicating live pages with lights at 100%, 50%, etc?

It would just be nice to do it similar to the way that you can on the RGB color wheel in Editor, but with a slider on the Live screen that only effects RGB channels. This would free up a few duplicate pages in Live for me. Then we could dial in the perfect level during a show and as the crowd changes throughout the night.

I think the best way to set RGB channels to listen to or ignore this slider would be to have a check box for that scene button in Live. Then put the slider vertically under the Auto BPM box on the right.

From what I can see, this is one of the big differences between a large light console and most software DMX systems. It would be nice to close that gap a bit more. Thanks again for all the help, I seem to love this software a little more each day!

The "Presets" might be useful for your requirement.

This is exactly how larger-format lighting consoles work. I can't see it working with just one fader though (if you look at the larger-format consoles then they always have at least 12. But if the ability was there for each scene or macro to have a fader (perhaps only if there are midi sliders available), then think of the power!

It would be great being able to use one of these: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/BCF2000.aspx and a touchscreen to run my shows!!

In a near future software version, we plan to add the ability to link the midi sliders to the Live > Presets.

Soory I lost track of this one for a bit. Linking the sliders might be nice. But i am not sure Presets does what I need. FOr example:

I have 6 Chauvey Colorpallets runing 27 ch mode (so 24 RGB sliders, per fixture). One of my scenes is a color flip chase that is set to Auto BPM. So Red, Purple, Blue, Cyan, Green, Yellow, repeat! Setting that Live button to Preset makes it stay on one step. So any 1 of the in dividual steps - Red, Purple, Blue, Cyan, Green or Yellow.

In this case, I may have programmed it wrong for this style of use. But how would you suggest that I make a color flip, mutiple step scene still behave that way, but have the presets control the brightness?

I would like to be able to do midi over rides . . . . say you are running a sequence have a midi slider over ride the color channel for DMX so you have your same movements but manually adjust color ... or gobo .... or speed etc

I used this feature in light jockey before I assumed Xpress would support this by now but i guess not

Could I get on the beta list as well for this

thx
