The patching part of the software has had a major overhaul. It is now much more efficient and easier for new users to understand. Plus you can do soft-patch channels. Much has changed since V5, it might be a good idea to take some time to discover the new features. Such as "forced fixed levels" as an example. Putting your phrase in to the search brought this up: "Setup - force faders in Editor to output only existing levels" useful for some specific fixtures that have reset channels for example. Ie where you need to get to an exact value quickly and accurately (lamp on/off etc). It means that you can only output the values assigned to that channel, not the in between ones (ie if lamp off=27 and lamp on=37 then you wont be able to set the channel to 30 if the force fixed levels is selected.)

With that matter, I'm afraid that I can't help. I only own the BOX interface.
