Greetings,
I'm currently running lighting for a local church using the SweetLight controller. I am unsure of the version, but I believe it is not the current version.
Yesterday I was programming a scene that included having a pair of moving lights used as "audience blinders" and "sky painters" by following an elliptical pattern with color changes. I was able to successfully program these movers to do what I wanted, however, all of the other lighting (LED Washes and spots) were only set for one step. Being that there were 15 steps total in the moving light program between movement and colors, it seemed that the only way to keep the static lighting the same throughout the song was to copy my channel data by hand and then move through each group and each step to ensure that nothing "blinked" when I didn't want it to.
There has to be an easier way to do this. It was taking many precious minutes to diligently copy the information and make sure nothing was missing, and we were only able to get to step 8 of 15 before having to call it a day.
Is there a way to copy the static lights and all of their information throughout a long set of steps without changing anything in the movers?
Thank you,
Jason
Moving Lights and Static Light Step Copying [fixed]
Re: Moving Lights and Static Light Step Copying
I believe you can accomplish this by selecting the channels you want to "copy" and right click and select "Select value of channel on all steps", you may have to select the one above it also to make the fade state the same also. This should make all the steps have the same channel values for you colors.
