What is the Power rating in Volts and amps for the Rack 1024. It is not listed in the documentation or on the unit itself.

I assume the voltage is 5V - but what is the Max amperage? Just trying to ensure the rack gets what it needs.

Please advise ASAP

Yes, the voltage is 5 V, and the current should be at least 0.5 A (500 mA).
A basic USB power supply will do the job.

Is there any danger in running a power supply with a higher amperage rating?

No.
The most important is voltage = 5 Volts and nothing else.
