Possible to run ShowXpress interface on second computer as a remote (like live mobile but full app)

Is it possible to run ShowXpress on a second computer where it is acting like a remote? Not the web app the full program. On a second computer I tried this by going to Preferences, Network and then changing the IP to the IP of the main computer but gave a TCP error on start up.

If this is possible, can you plugin MIDI controller boards to the remote machine?

Our software can not be a remote control of our software.
We suggest you to use a "remote access" software like "Teamviewer" for full app control.
But the midi controller has be connected to the computer which drives the DMX interface.
