The Lighting Controller

I wanted to register because I am having the same trouble. I am using a device for an audio input and Xpress software does not recognize the audio coming in. I've adjusted all settings per the instructions above.

My laptop is using a Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro external sound card plugged in via USB. I am using this sound card's audio input line to receive audio. The laptop recognizes the audio signal and I can play the audio on the speakers of the laptop. However, Xpress software does not recognize the audio input.

Can you enable "Stereo mix" and try with it ?

Still no luck after enabling stereo mix. I tried these other inputs as default and that didn’t work. The only setting that work is to make the microphone the default input.

Please check again you did that.

If it still does not work, we presently have no idea why.

Hello, I was able to resolve the issue by making stereo mix the default device, and then enabling “listen to this device” on the line input properties.
