Hi Folks,
So I’ve been using Showxpress for years now and installed it in a number of Bars/Nightclubs. It’s always been annoying that flash buttons don’t work properly with touch screens, you have to double tap or wiggle your finger.
Windows doesn’t allow you to turn off multi-touch on tablets etc. Disabling ‘hold to right click’ doesn’t fix the issue either.
I know this has been covered before but I can’t see any real fix to this issue. In 2023, finally - there must be a solution to this? Even if you folks can recommend a touch screen you have tested and works perfectly for press and hold / flash buttons.
(I’d also still love an auto play function for a selectable list of macros/scenes - pretty please!)
Many thanks
Ben

Re: Touch Screen
There is a bunch of different touch screens and it looks that the OS (Operating System = Windows) handles them more of less.
Our software does no see the used device (mouse, mouse pad, touch screen, ...). He just receives messages from the OS and it is supposed to do the best possible with them.
Our experience with touch screens is poor, we are not able to advise a good one. Sorry for that.

Re: Touch Screen
This isn't a problem unique to ShowXpress, it's just a windows issue in the way that it handles pressing and holding. It's really annoying, but not much you can do about it unfortunately. I've run across this as an issue in a lot of different software. Ie. audio mixing software won't let me push multiple faders up at the same time, etc.djb_554 wrote:Hi Folks,
