Lights flash on use of internet explorer

I’ve noticed lately that when I have showxpress on and turn on internet explorer I get a flash of the lights once each time I use it.

Anybody run into this or is it my computer.

All in one computer
Gateway ZX4800 Pentium dual-core cpu. T4500 2.3
4 GB. 64-bit.

Windows 7 home premium.
