Backup Computer via "usb splitter"

Is it possible to use a USB splitter in order to have a backup computer ready to go if ShowXpress crashes on the main computer?

USB requires:
1. plug the usb device for usb auto enumeration in the OS
2. run our software after the OS knows about the usb devices

uh... and what does it mean? That it is possible or not to use an USB splitter? Sorry, never used one of them... didn't even know that it existed ! 8-)

We don't know to.
But, because of what we said above, this is not possible.
