Blinking and random dmx channels turning on

Hey support, I've been getting a weird issue that I've only been having since I updated to V8.1.33 (I'm currently using 8.1.36).

Note, I've only gotten this issue in 3d yet. I've run this show 2 weeks ago on V8.1.23 and didn't get any issues.

I'll test this show on V8.1.36 (or later) live this saturday.

We are not able to move the channels linked to the midi channels, so we switched some scenes on and watched the channels in the dmx bargraph.
We did not see the problem.

Could you please make the following test ?
- disable "Midi In" and "Midi Out" in the main menu "Preferences" (and disconnect your midi equipment from the computer)
- run the software and press some scenes
And let us know if you still see the problem.

This will tell us if the problem comes from midi or not.

I don't see any weird dmx channels randomly popping up. But I can't see what is happening in the 3d viewer.

Okay, I think I've found something.

I just plugged my usb hub into a wall socket and connected all my midi devices into that hub; I'm not seeing the issue anymore.

I was using multiple usb ports on my pc before.

I think it is fixed but I'm not sure what the problem was.

I don't think it's fixed, I just moved a dimmer fader and the problem has started again.

I just had the program running for 10+ hours as a test to see if the problem came back.

it looks indeed like an USB issue. I've had something similar (some randomly flashing fixtures): using the interface alone on its USB port cured the problem.
USB ports could even go nuts if you plug just a mouse or a numeric pad !!!

Thanks for the feedback Luc, but unfortunatly it cannot be a problem with my dongle, it still happens when my dongle is disconnected.

@Support: Is there anyting you'd like me to test?
