Fastest way to make "snake" or chases on color rails

I just added some color rails (hence the reprograming and jump to V8). I am confusing myself I think and feel that showxpress should make this easy. I have them in 28 channel mode for full control and want to do things like have a yellow streak shoot across the line of all four of them. Is there a fast way to do this? I tried generator and I may not be doing it right but can't seem to figure it out without going into steps and creating huge scenes.
