Mini-DIN connector for external contacts triggering

Hi! I have the Xpress512-Plus unit and the IR Remote. However, I see that there is a Mini-DIN connection as well, specified for triggering. However, I'm curious to know what device options are out there. I've searched online and found nothing. Does anybody know how to use this port (via purchasing a product)? Any suggestions?
