Convert an external number pad to midi

Hi there, I've just come across an old external number pad keyboard i had lying around. I want to use this as triggers for showxpress and print the colors onto the keys but there are no numbers on the trigger selection in LIVE. Is there any way to program this or convert the pad to midi? Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Callum.

Doesn't trigger only work on keyboard letters not numbers?

This isn't possible. Only ABC can be assigned. I have ableton but not on the lighting PC.

actually you can't convert numbers to midi notes... but what you can to its convert numers to specific keys in the keyboard... in other words, the keys that you can actually map to the software... the software is called MacroWorks 3.1... and there are many tutorials about how to... i used in a project similar to yours... with only a numeric pad i mapped for example:
number "3" -> letter "a" and with a little num. pad we controlled the lights from a restaurant-bar... it was nice...
