using more than one MIDI controller

Post by Earl Harvey »

Wonder if it is possible to use more than one MIDI controller with Show Express... I am using a Novation Launchpad Mini and would like to use 2 of them
and possibly the iPad app MIDI Designer

I ended up using MIDI OX... its free and works great for routing/merging virtual MIDI to Show Xpress...MIDI Designer is really something with Show Xpress once you take the time to program Live's Buttons with faders or preset faders... I can Pan/Tilt, group faders, I highly recommend it !

Has anyone tried a hardware midi merge box? Unfortunately I haven't seen any that are USB-midi in. So it would mean employing a couple of midi 5 pin to usb adapters.

I'm running a Mac, so can't use MIDI ox
