Strobe Speed

Hi all, im having real trouble with strobes in 3D view. Im running the latest version of the software (6.333) and i have a setup that includes Mac3's and Atomic 3000's. for the life of me i can't get a fast strobe speed, I've tried a range of different fixture profiles and tried altering the fixture parameters but nothing helps, it goes from slow to vaguely fast, but i wouldn't call it strobing, its more of a flash now and then! Can anyone help?

Strobe effect on 3DView is just to give an idea of real strobe effect.
Anyway, please check "3D setings > Max authorized FPS" is min 30.

I use strobe in 3D as a reference. I always double check at the venue if I am happy with the strobe speed I programmed. I always program with a notebook beside me to write notes on any new scenes I build to review them in real time and make any necessary adjustments.
