Copying and pasting fixtures

Post by hecticben »

Hey guys,

I'm trying to mimic a live stage I saw recently... Basically it had 4 moving heads on trusses along the stage with a grid of light bulbs infront of each. Now I've made 1 instance of that (picture attached) but I need around 2 or 3 more to make it look right.. but (as you can image) was a bit of a bitch getting it all looking great.. So my question is.. it there an easy way to copy what I've done and paste it or duplicate it so I don't have to keep redoing it?

Many thanks!!

Ben

Sorry but it is not possible to copy/paste fixtures, because the fixtures must be declared in program "Setup".
However, it possible to copy/paste groups of 3D objects.

Sadly the only 3d object in there is the truss.. the rest are fixtures :(

It is very easy to duplicate fixtures from "Setup". Then you can move/align them by group in 3DView.
