Hi,
I've just received my d512 interface.
I connected and was presented with a device descriptor error: Interface#1 Ma:0 Mo:268492288 L:10
I assumed this was as all USB ports are USB3 - I've tried upgrading the driver and can see this was successful in device manager:
but I still get the same error. (this is exactly the same error - and I have rebooted)
My comuter specs:

I've tried all the usb ports and there is no difference.
Could somebody translate the error message and tell me what it means?
Cheers
Adam
ps - I have looked at other threads, hence the upgrade attempt of driver - but im not an asus. I have not had a problem with the usb ports on the laptop before - it runs mice/keyboards/drives usb 2 & 3 simultaneously without issue.
Dell Vostro Device Descriptor
Re: Dell Vostro Device Descriptor
We made several tests, and there is a chance that we found the problem of these usb3.0 ports.
We made a workaround, in our source code.
Please try this:
1. open your software folder (something like "../YourSoftware/")
2. rename the file "efk_usb.dll" by "efk_usb_original.dll"
3. copy this file http://download.thelightingcontroller.c ... fk_usb.dll , in the software folder.
In other words, we ask you to rename the existing DLL file, and to use a new one, which should fix the usb3.0 problem.
And please tell us if it works now.
