Speed control in live

i there a way of making a fader in live for speed of the fixtures or would this be possible with a midi controller?

There is presently no "speed fader", linkable to a midi fader.
Users create several buttons with different speed, and they patch one Live button to one midi button.

is there a way to control speed of a scene playing back other than when setting the step times during the edit process?

i ran into this also and would like to be able to make the scene go slower or faster based on the live feel of the music.

any way to do this that offers a variable like a fader?

It is possible to adjust the speed of a "scene" button, in Live.
Then you can create several buttons, with same scene and different speed, and put all these buttons in a "solo button" page.

but i will only add that what you described is what i am trying to avoid in order to bring some order to my boards and buttons... i seem to have so many.... thanks to your software being so flexible and easy to program our shows have gone to another level for sure... i just need to catch up:)
