Coming from a manual board background I really miss not having a "GO" button. This button would allow me to manually step through multi step scenes at my timing and not be tied to a fixed show time. It is very useful feature for live band performances where click tracks are not used. Would this be something you could add as a feature to live? If any other users would find this feature useful please reply so the programmers can determine if this feature is worth building.

Depending on what you are trying to do, this might solve your problem.
I use timeline with numerous pauses.

Re: Go Button Request
How I get round this is by creating a series of makros for any given song. I call these for example, intro, verse, mid 8, solo etc. It's then just a case of triggering the makro at the right point in the song.
Working with both a regular band setlist and also bands I'm unfamiliar with. I have a series of 'song specific' macros and also a series of generic macros. It works quite well.
If any of the scenes has a chase you want to sync to the song tempo. Set the chase button speed to manual bpm and yoy can use the tap sync.

But how do you get the Timeline to start again after it has paused?JohnRichards wrote:Depending on what you are trying to do, this might solve your problem.

Re: Go Button Request
No. Only if you are in the edit tab for Timeline.support wrote:Space bar (?)
Re: Go Button Request
Timeline pause/play can be done only from the TimeLine window.
The Lighting Controller

Re: Go Button Request
For when you are working in timeline, it allows me to pause for the next cue.
