[Cable] Editor doesn't recognize some fixture [fixed]

Post by kirbysound »

I'm new to ShowExpress and the Editor and am having trouble with the Editor connecting to my SlimPar Pro Tri fixtures via the XPress100 dongle. I have 4 ColorStrip fixtures that the Editor operates correctly, but the Editor doesn't see the SlimPars. I've tried both 9-channel and 4-channel mode on the SlimPars. I don't think it's the cable or the DMX address because the SlimPars operate correctly when chained through the ColorStrip fixtures and connected to a Chauvet Obey 70 analog controller.

I've also tried swapping SlimPar fixtures, and tried going directly from the XPress100 dongle to the SlimPar fixture (bypassing the ColorStrip fixtures).

On what dmx adres are they
With the expres 100 you only see the first 100 dmx adresses

I only have ten fixtures total. The 4 Colorstrips have DMX addresses of 001, 033, 065, 097. The SlimPars are 129, 161, 193, 225, 257, 289. I'm using 32 per fixture to preserve compatibility with my analog controller as a backup.

Like a said the xpres100 only drives adres 001 till 100
If you put your slimpars under the 100 you will see them
If you keep your dmx adresses as described you need the bigger interface
