Hi!
I use SweetLight with LED tubes. If I got it right, "stacking scenes" means "overweight a channel by the value of another scene". I wish there was a way to stack scenes by adding channel values. Let's say use a bit of red (70 / 0 / 0) as basic color. Now add a chase with walking red dots, stacked over the basic color.
Further idea: Having faders for values. I know, doesn't make sense for gobos. But would be great for mixing colors just like on a good old lighting console.
And last idea: What about further mathematical experiments? Using stack features to subtract one color from the other, just like negative chases? Or use "keep 100 %": Add several color scenes so in theory you could get RGB 800 / 200 / 0. Now take the percentage of the values and get 255 / 64 / 0.
Should be interesting for everyone using RGB, don't you think so? At least for me essential.

Soft stack
Re: Soft stack
It is not possible to "add" or "substract" values between scenes.
The exact rule is last value overrides when active (viewtopic.php?f=31&t=383).

And what about making it possible...?

Right now, we do not see a big interest.
We just note and wait for other users comments.

The Lighting Controller
Re: Soft stack
I see...
Let me just add one last comment: I've been testing hundreds of softwares (or so....) in the last weeks to find one single product to solve this small problem. Not a single one does it. I've also tested moving head controllers - don't work. And I've tested lighting consoles. These controllers can add values, but don't support hundreds of DMX channels (besides huge wings), that are necessary with tubes.
So: Here's a desperate LED tube user who can't control his tubes. Either there's a software product I haven't found yet (which can't be true...) or there must be a lot of other lighting freaks with just the same problem. Why not being the only software supporting tubes??
Hoping to here good news...
