Disable double click in preferences

Post by r0bren0 »

When working with live, I use keyboard shortcuts to assign scenes with the music. It is great because I can go from movement > blackout > strobe > etc.

However, I noticed an issue with it once I really started putting the shows to the music. Let's say that in the above scenario that I am coming out of a strobe scene and going into the same movement scene. I would have to hit the keyboard shortcut key "twice" to active the movement scene (once to turn it off and once to turn it on). So during a show, I have a split second to determine how many times I need to hit the key. This makes the timing off with the lighting, because I am going back and forth between dozens of keys in a short time frame and have no time to think, "how many times should I hit this key".

Can we make this a preference option that when a button is clicked "once", it will automatically override other scenes (hence a keyboard shortcut key would only have to be tapped once to enable it on).

Also, is there a way to make the marco a flash button?

Pressing "ctrl + key" simultaneously should be ok for you.

It is not possible to use Macros as flash button.
