Video crashing on second screen

Hi,

we are kind of new to sweetlight,

we are trying to out put video from the live screen through the laptops second output to display on screens round the venue, but as soon as the file trys to play the player crashes. this doesnt happen when trying to display on the main laptop screen, but happens as soon as you drag the palyer window to the second display output. after this you have to reboot sweetlight.

this all works on desktop computer in the office, running dual monitors. but not on site using the laptop.

we have tried downloading the suggested codecs in the forum sticky but this hasnt worked. the client is using this system for the show this weekend and an urgent fix is needed!

Our software does not play the video file itself ; it asks the operating system to play the video file.
If it works well on the desktop computer, and it crashes on the laptop computer, there is a good chance that the problem comes from the computer.

Can you try to play the file with "Windows Media Player" and drag the window in the second monitor, and let us know the result ?
