The Lighting Controller

Hello,

I am having an issue with the command bar and right-click controls in ShowXpress.

When using the right-click controls in the Editor and Live applications, the responding drop down boxes are reduced to small gray bars. Because of this, I cannot access the command buttons of the sliders for the the Editor app and I am not able to add/remove items from pages on the Live screen.
Also, the same problem occurs when trying to access the drop down boxes on the command bar of each screen.

I am running Windows XP with ShowXpress software version 6.29.

Is there a specific theme in your XP os ?

Yes and I have attached a few with this post:

Could you please tell us the XP os "pack" version (Pack 1, Pack 2, Pack 3) ? (you can see that in the "System Properties" > tab "General")
Is the "os automatic update" activated ?

In the software folder, there are the following folders: "3DView", "ControlBoard", "Editor", ...
Could you also email us a ZIP file of the complete folder "Editor" (size of ZIP file should be a bit more than 2Mb) ?

I am running Service Pack 3 and yes, automatic updates are currently applied.

For me to send an email, can I have the appropriate address?

When we run Editor from your folder, we do not see this problem.

May be your lightshow is the cause (?) Could you please send us a backup of your current lightshow ?

Could you also confirm that the software language is set to English/USA ? Or even better, please send us this file "C:\Documents and Settings\YourAccountName\TheLightingController\param.ini"

Yes, I can send the param.ini text.

Is the lightshow the folder that contains the text file?

In ControlBoard go to "export a light show" (middle one on the right)
