Crash using presets [fixed]
viewtopic.php?f=31&t=1040&p=4170&hilit= ... rash#p4170
I read this thread and I have a similar issue.
I made some presets and thinks work fine, but every now and then a random preset will lock up and crash the program. It's only at random times...NO missing steps either.

Re: PRESET Problem
We need your entire lightshow to fix the problem.
You can also fix it yourself like this:
- open your lightshow folder
- go in folder "Live"
- make a copy of the file "Live.ini" (to keep an original file)
- open the file "Live.ini"
- delete all lines starting with "preset_step ="
- save and exit
Afterwards, the default positions of the preset sliders will be lost, but you will recover your Live show.
Please note that, in reality, only the "preset_steps" equal to a number superior to the total steps number of the scene must be deleted.

Re: PRESET Problem
Thanks, I'll give it a try. I understand it'll crash if there's more preset steps than there are actual steps.. however, none of my shows have that problem.. it'll crash on a random show. Either way, I will report results!

Re: PRESET Problem
We could reproduce one or two times only (not easy to reproduce).
It should be fixed in file "fix_for_MacOS/Windows.zip" (in the software folder).

Re: Crash using presets [fixed]
Can you please give us a procedure who triggers the crash each time with your LightShow (or an other one) ?
