button on pages

ok iam new so give me a break i was watching a video on youtube and showexpress had lot of little buttons on the live pages i have tried to do the same but seem to fails i have 3 pages in live for par light moving heads and want to make the pages for these light have as much buttons as possible to get all kinds of colors.

what am i doing wrong can someone help

Are you trying to:

A: have a scene that moves the lights in some pattern, and
B: have a bunch of scenes that just changes the colors only of these moving scenes

If so then,

1. Make the moving scenes as desired
2. Make your color/ gobo scenes with the XY channels disabled
3. On a page in live select add new scene and select however many scenes you want. Either one at a time or (for PC) <ctrl> select multiples <add>

If you just want the software to chase colors then put just a page full of the color scenes and have that page chase
