Hy guys,
still haven't heard about that issue. Have you found something in your code?

Re: Pan Tilt inverse doesn't work
In V7, when "reverse pan/tilt" is checked, the corresponding channels values for each step are reversed in the scene files on the hard disk.
So if you save some scenes with this option, and later you uncheck this option and you re-save them, then the scenes will finally not work as expected.
In other words, this option must be checked (or not) before programming scenes, and afterwards it must not be changed.
FYI, behaviour is different in V8: this option does not affect anymore the data saved in the scene ; this option is now considered only in the "play" engine .

Re: Pan Tilt inverse doesn't work
Hello,
first of all: Happy new year
Finally - it's a bug, isn't it?
Is it possible to solve that issue?
And here's another issue for 3D View:
If you still have the PAN Tilt Show that i've send please try this:
Go to fixture setting window
Double click in the address field on one of the 2 moving Heads (MH) and select for example PAN reverse and store it.
Now double click on the other MH
You'll see that PAN reverse is also selected.
This happens with same kinds of fixtures where PAN TILT is possible!
Add another MH from different manufacturer
Double click on the added MH. PAN reverse is already selected.
What I'm trying to explain - if you reverse PAN or TILT only for one fixture all other's Heads are selected too.
We're speaking about 3D View!
greetings

Re: Pan Tilt inverse doesn't work
No, it just works like thisFinally - it's a bug, isn't it?
This makes sense, because both fixtures are same.Go to fixture setting window
Double click in the address field on one of the 2 moving Heads (MH) and select for example 3D PAN reverse and store it.
Now double click on the other MH
You'll see that PAN reverse is also selected.
"3D pan/tilt reverse" is a manufacturer parameter ; it is same for all same fixtures, whatever is there dmx address.
And Happy New Year to !

Re: Pan Tilt inverse doesn't work [fixed]
Some last questions to that post:
If I get you right all "same fixtures" fixtures from a manufacturer "A" will inverse Pan or Tilt if this function is selected in 3D view?
For example: I'll take 2 Showtec Heads Type X, 2 Showtec Heads Type Y and two GLP Heads Type Z.
Then I select Pan inverse in 3D View for one Showtec Head Type X.
And really every Showtec Head is inversed? Type X and Type Y ?
If so, thats halfway decent.
But it makes no sense at all that the GLP Heads are also selected too.
And this is what's gonna happen.
greetings

No, the option "3DView reverse pan/tilt" is the same only for duplicated fixtures.
The reason, is duplicated fixtures are linked to the same fixture file (stored in folder "../YourLightshow/fixtures/").

Re: Pan Tilt inverse doesn't work [fixed]
Hello,
But that issue is real.
Therefore I've added some more Showtec Heads. (other fixtures)
And if I select only one of them - all will be reversed.
I've send the lightshow again.
Please check it.
In that mail I've described the single steps that I've done.
I'm curious about it.
greetings

Re: Pan Tilt inverse doesn't work [fixed]
There is effectively a screen refresh bug. "Screen refresh" because if you restart the software and you check the second fxture again, you will see that the option is not checked, which means the fixture file is not corrupted.
Anyway, thank you for this clear report. This bug is fixed for the next V7 (and also V8 which has the same problem) release.
