We checked your lightshow with your param file on an XP computer, and we do not see this problem.
Until we are not able to reproduce the problem, it would be difficult for us to fix it (sorry for this).

Thank you for testing the various files to see if you could identify the problem.

This may sound odd: could you link to or send me version 6.25 of the software? The reason I ask is that this previous version worked fine on the machine.

I performed my own update to 6.28 not long after it was released and it worked fine for short period. My problem then arose, so I downloaded and installed version 6.29 hoping that it would clear up any bugs that may have been in 6.28. This did not work, as we still have the error.

Unfortunately, downgrading version 6.25 did not solve the problem. This leads me to believe that the issue must deal with our machine and not with the software itself.

There is a very easy solution to this problem... Upgrade to Windows 7, your computer will thank you for it.
