DMX Input -> the different priorities

Thanks for the DMX Input function for those of us with interfaces that allow for it.

In the priority mode of the DMX INPUT screen are three choices:
1. DMX Input
2. Software
3. Highest Level

I went back to my V5 and referenced the manual of the priorities meanings of the DMX Input screen and that gave me a general idea of the V6.22 DMX Input screen would work but I would like to hear your description of how each of the 3 values are meant to work, thanks!

1. DMX Input - the dmx input always drives the dmx output.

2. Software - the dmx input drives the dmx output only when the channel is not activated in Live or Editor.

3. Highest Level - the dmx output follows the highest level between the dmx input and the channel in Live.
