Spot Duo/Core 3 x 3/Pucks don't look right?

Post by scottm80 »

Hello -

Total newb here, this maybe something I'm doing wrong, or maybe a limitation of the software?....in 3D view: 1) the spot duos I have only appear as one fixture(not two), 2) the core 3 x 3's light up but don't throw a beam and 3) the blizzard pucks I have just look like a thin beamed light, instead of like they really look...?

Love the software so far btw...

Thanks for any help.....

1.
Please read this: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2310

2.
This fixture is a "multi-rgb" fixture. Two possibilities:
- you program it in Editor, and you could see it in 3DView
- you program it in "Pixels", but you will not see it in 3DView
We suggest "Pixels", because it can manage more easily "multi-rgb" fixtures.

3.
There are several models of "Pucks". Please post the personality file. We will check it.

If you mean the casing look, 3DView does oftenly not show the real casing (the most important is the beam).
You can improve that, by selecting another "Fixture shape" (right click in 3DView > select "Fixtures setting" > select the fixture in "Fixtures in the stage" > select another shape in "Fixture shape").
