Support,
I am still having problems with this feature in 6.333, my box and a wing console. I have made a simple two light show to demonstrate the problem. I created it exactly how I use these fixtures but on a smaller scale.
Simply put? I have patched the RGB fixture to my wing console so I can manually mix colours. I have also put in a lightscene that is keyboard triggered to put the fixture in an all white colour. So if I have manually mixed up red and then hit my keyboard trigger, it fades up as I have told the button to do. But when I release the button via the keyboard trigger, the fade out feature works but then refuses to release control of the fixture. While I still have the red up on my wing console I have nothing.
Now I also put in one of my moving fixtures with the X and Y patched to ch4 & 5, and I also have created a scene that turns on the shutter and dimmer and told that button to be a flash button as well as a fade uo and fade down button, all of which is DMX triggered by ch4. I do this so I can drive my fixture to a focus point and then save it as a submaster for whenever I need it during a show and I can effectively get what I need by just using 2 fader buttons on my console.
Now back to the problem: So I have released the keyboard triggered white on my par but get no return of control of the fixtre via my wing console. Unless I move the movers via chs4 &/or 5.
Bottom line is that once a fade out feature has completed on an RGB fixture, I need control of the fixture again with my wing console. If I turn of the fade out feature I get immediate control of the fixture, but now I don't have the nice transition. Now the fade out feature works just fine for my moving fixtures, but not my RGB fixtures.
So let me know if you would like a copy of the simple show to play with.

Re: Fade Out Feature with RGB fixtures
Can you please send us the lightshow showing this problem, with only one rgb fixture and only one button in Live ?

Re: Fade Out Feature with RGB fixtures
We checked your lightshow. We found:
- one scene in Live driving channels 118 & 119
- 5 channels patched to dmx inputs, with "software" priority (101&102&103&111&112)
Can you please tell us what does not work as expected ?

Re: Fade Out Feature with RGB fixtures
Do you have a box hub and a conventional console to use as an input? Or would it be easier if I make a video to guide you through the problem I am having?

Re: Fade Out Feature with RGB fixtures
For this test, we are using a SSA interface with a basic dmx lighting desk plugged to the dmx input.
Yes, if possible, please make a video.

Re: Fade Out Feature with RGB fixtures
Thank you for this clear video.
In this new beta Live (http://download.thelightingcontroller.c ... a/Live.zip), the channels are not locked, after fade out action.
However, the fade out will go to "white", and not to "red", as requested by the patched dmx input channels. The reason is Live does not know the dmx input patch. So there is some "incompatibility" between Live fade action and dmx input patch with "software" priority.

Re: Fade Out Feature with RGB fixtures
I'll give it a whirl and see what it does. Thanks.

Re: Fade Out Feature with RGB fixtures
Yep, that is what it used to do and that is fine. It fades out my white and then resumes whatever input I have in the wash. And I am just fine with this. Thanks. I consider this fixed now.
