For theatrical use I work out of Editor instead of Live. I end up duplicating cues so each one ends up looking like 3 steps in the Editor; this allows me to play "through" the first instance of the cue for however long I wanted the transition (:00.5 for quick fades, etc.) into the second instance of that cue which I set long like :05 so that I can Stop the playback of the Editor. Then I use the arrow key to step down to the third instance of that same cue which is super short. This now allows me to Play the Editor when the next cue needs to be triggered.

Example-

Cue 2 - 0:02 <-- actual duration of the intended transition
Cue 2 - 0:10 <-- long fake step so there is time to Stop playback in Editor, then arrow down to next step
Cue 2 - 0:05 <-- short step so when the next cue needs to be triggered, I just press Play in Editor
Cue 3 - 0:00.5
Cue 3 - 0:10
Cue 3 - 0:00.5
Cue 4 - 0:01
Cue 4 - 0:10

Not exactly ideal, but the easiest solution I came up with for the limited cues that needed to be ran.

I understand the difficulty of programming, but ... would be very useful!

This could work, but I prefer using TimeLine and adding a Pause when waiting for the next cue.
