When you get the software and hub, don't expect to run the rig in the Sydney Opera House overnight. Don't expect to run a Broadway show or an off West End theatre or even you local community theatre or a local band. With Editor, just figure out how to make a par can, a moving light and an RGB led fixture with Editor and the 3D imager. Then figure out how to do the same with the hub fired up and a fixture hooked up. Use good known cables, make sure your fixture is on and addressed correctly, then make it do the things it does manually with the faders in editor. Then make a multistep scene and fix your programming until it does a figure of 8, strobes, comes on and of or change colours.
When you can do that then you should start trying the groups feature, or Live. It's a case of trial and error and usually your own programming is suspect.
I can help you with making a fixture work but I can't really make your whole rig work.
