(for advanced users only)
In "beta files", the file "Live.zip" offers the possibility to always fade channels* transitions, when switching on/off scene buttons.
The fade time is adjusted in menu "Live > Preferences > Fade options > Fade in / Fade out time".
Each page can be forced (or not) to follow the fade action with option "Fade in / Fade out" in "Page " menu.
Please post your feedback in this topic.
* fade is presently forced only for channels dimmer, red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow

Re: [beta] Always fade between scene buttons
Thanks Support.
A nice feature.
My only comment on this is that most of the time I already have "fade-in" times built into the scene, but not the "fade-out" when switching the button off. It would be great if there were 2 options with time.
ie -1) FadeIn and time, 2) FadeOut and time.

Good idea !
In and Out splitted (with same time for all).
Please reload the zip file.

Re: [beta] Always fade between scene buttons
Could this also apply to white, amber ?* fade is presently forced only for channels dimmer, red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow
Re: [beta] Always fade between scene buttons
Yes, in addition to RGB, "White" and "Amber" make sence, indeed !
We will upgrade the beta with this asap.

Re: [beta] Always fade between scene buttons
A few notes:
- I have a lot of scenes with the fixture "par_can" but the fade out did not work on them. I recommend Par Cans to be added.
- However, I also recommend the following:
- Let the Lighting Programmer decide which channels/fixture types can be auto faded.
- Let the Live User choose which scenes can be Auto Faded including different times for Fade in and out.
- An animation of "loading bar" would be nice to show it fading in/out.
Great Job so far. It's very solid and will cut out half of my buttons just for fade outs and help me save tons of time programming scenes that just fade in!
A++++
Thanks for all you do! Keep us updated!
Also, my "Next Big Thing" this month is a Sync'd Christmas light/audio show using ShowXpress with 2 universes!

Thank you for the feedback.
"Par_can" is added in TODO list.
The other notes look complex (programming side, using side) ; waiting for more feedback.
