So it seems like the usb hardware part of your computer is totally different than with our computers: your computer has a different behaviour with too close usb frames, while our computers handle these frames in a good way for our interfaces.
We have increased the minimum delay between usb frames. Please try the new zip file and let us know if result is better.
Flickering in DMX Signal [fixed]

Re: Flickering in DMX Signal
After discussing via email with "aldholland", it seems that we are in front of two problems:
1 - flickering when processor is fully busy (minimize & maximize a Windows application from the Windows task bar)
2 - random flickering (around one flicker per minute) without doing any computer action
Note that these problems exist exclusively with interfaces Box and Ssa, and only with some computers (and unfortunately not ours).
Accordingly to "aldholland", problem 1 seems to be fixed.
We just re-uploaded a new ZIP file with a new EXE file, which should manage better problem 2 with Ssa. Please try it and let us know.
The reason it takes so much time to fix that problem is we can not check our test applications, because we do not have this problem with our computers.

Re: Flickering in DMX Signal
I noticed this problem over the weekend after a new lighting install using a Shuttle computer. I'm using a BOX version. Will there be a new version to fix this problem or just a new driver? Thanks.
Working on the next BIG thing

I have same problem. When I try to download the zip file (posted May 3), my browser says: "page not found".

Re: Flickering in DMX Signal
This was a temporary file.
As soon as a new stable (or beta) version is ready (which obviously includes the temporary files), we remove the temporary files.

Re: Flickering in DMX Signal
Was this issue ever solved? I'm using ShowExpress (downloaded and installed about a month ago) with the USB cable interface. I get a flicker at random intervals (seems to be every 30-60 seconds) when controlling a series of COLORBank LED units. The computer is a Dell Latitude E6510 running Windows 7. The system never approaches 100% CPU utilization.
Re: Flickering in DMX Signal
The software is ok.
Please note that some Chinese led lights are not 100% dmx compliant ; they require some pause between each dmx data. The firmware of our interfaces with standalone ability (those who generate the dmx signal) has been revised for these Chinese lights (firmware version 1.05).
But all USB to DMX converters (like the interface Cable and all other existing competitors converters on the market) are not able to modify the dmx signal, in order to avoid flickering of Chinese lights. They just send fast regular dmx signal, which is not suitable for the Chinese lights. We suppose this is your problem.
