Speed: standard for movement and bpm for color

Post by moogleone »

Hi everyone,

before i start. im loving the software, very easy to use! still learning :D

My question is this-

Im trying to get moving heads to move to a bpm or to an audio input. Is it only possible to get them to flash to bpm/change colour/change gobo etc? to the music.

when i set a fixed bpm of 128 to a scene of a moving head doing for example a simple figure eight. It doesnt do the smoothe movement any more
just jumps around to all the anchor points. Is there a way to change this? (i do have all the fades on smooth)

I was hoping for a more

kick--------kick--------kick--------kick--------?
hp1--------hp2---------hp3--------hp4--------?

*hp being head position.

On a side not also, cant seem to get move in black function to work in the 3d view or within scenes. Does this work? cant figure it out.

thanks for your time!

You must split the scenes into:
- scenes for movement, with standard speed setting
- scenes for color, with bpm speed
Afterwards, you can trigger two scenes simultaneously (movement and color) with a button "Macro".

The function "black while moving" is a specific function which is presently not handled by 3DView (sorry for this).
