It is not possible to trigger buttons with BPM.
A button is supposed to trigger a dynamic scene, with background color change ; changing buttons at 180 bpm would be a bit fast for screen refresh.

It is possible to forward the steps of a scene with bpm. (Please Explain)

Second question, can i use bpm on some scenes and manual in others without having to switch any buttons during a song? For example using timeline to play a light show, does the bpm effect the speed of the timesline playback or only of specific scenes, and can you have some scenes set for manual bpm and others for auto?

also i see you said in this same post "A button is supposed to trigger a dynamic scene, with background color change ; changing buttons at 180 bpm would be a bit fast for screen refresh."
What about triggering different buttons thru midi i would assume if you can play faster then 180bpm then the midi data wouldnt have the same issue with screen refresh would it?
Thanks again for the help.

I figured it out on my own, but the sound activation seems real slow, i have the button set to auto 1/1 and that seems to be the fastest i can get it to change is a real slow rock beat. But it seems in the auto bpm window the bar lights are picking up every hit from the mic when i play faster but not speeding up the steps any slower then that real slow speed, am i missing something?

Has anyone been able to get the sound activation to work on higher tempo songs. Right now it seems that it will only sound activate the lights at a real slow speed.... but the mic input level seems to pic up every thing when looking at the levels. Seems strange am i missing something?
