Chauvet - Intimidator 1.0

Post by hueyt »

Please tell me the Intimidator 1.0 will work with show xpress!! I just bought 6 of these from a guy to fill
out my show! I can't find it in the fixture library! I also bought the 512 plus...so I'm way in deep now!

Thanks

I found that...thank you! Now if I'm running DMX, should the #10 dip switch be up or down?
I'm trying my best to make it communicate... just moving faders on the screen.

Sorry but we can not help for fixture dip switch setting.
Yes, move faders on Editor screen (with dmx button green).

Dipswitch 10 should be set to OFF and dipswitches 1-9 should be set to ON to set starting DMX channel identity.

If the following dipswitches are set, your DMX starting address would be 1:
1=ON
2=OFF
3=OFF
4=OFF
5=OFF
6=OFF
7=OFF
8=OFF
9=OFF
10=OFF

If the following dipswitches are set, your DMX starting address would be 5 (since there are 4 channels per unit, this would be the next sequential address if you were controlling each individually):
1=ON
2=OFF
3=ON
4=OFF
5=OFF
6=OFF
7=OFF
8=OFF
9=OFF
10=OFF
