Override channel value in Live mode

Post by Mattblack »

Is there not a way in live mode, as scenes are running, to be able to adjust channels? For example with a MIDI controller. I can't seem to see how this is possible. The only place I see channel sliders is in the scene editor, but i don't want to edit a scene I just want to bring in some strobes with a midi controller for example.

Thanks
Matt

Since version 6.30, it is possible to patch buttons/rotating sliders/faders to dmx outputs.

excellent, thanks. So to confirm (because I don't have the product yet, only demo)... if I have a scene running which (for example ) has a strobe flashing every 10 seconds... i can override this with a slider on the MIDI controller to blast the strobe and then return back to every 10 seconds (or as specified in the scene) when I'm done?
