can`t use the buttons with dmx

Did you close Editor before going into Live? I think Editor can take priority over Live, if DMX is on in the editor.

Having the same problem. Scenes work fine when triggered from the editor screen, but will not fire when added to the live screen. I tried closing the editor, and nothing changed.

1) Do you have right allowed "Live" in your Firewall ?
2) Are your scene files right located in "/your_home_directory/TheLightingController/LightShows/your_light_show/scenes" ?

I could use the scenes in another (identical) PC at another place.

But still no success with the first one. I will mail you later this evening.

Firewall is now off, but Sweetlight were allowed there anyway.

I have now found the problem...

I tried to save and recall the scenes from:

"/your_home_directory/TheLightingController/LightShows/default/scenes/your_light_show/"

And now it works !!

BUT...

I can touch the touch screen to change scenes with no problems, but when I touch the same scene twice everything freezes. I cant do anything without restarting the computer...

The screen reacts as if everything is ok, but the last scene freezes (lights on but no movements).

I cant exit the program, The question if I really want to quoit comes up, but the program will not disappear when I click YES.

Even if I close the program by "ctrl-alt-del" I cant get the scenes to work again...

Even in editor mode nothing will work until I restart the computer.

Funny.. (or not)

Now it works... last night it didnt, and one hour ago id did not either...

Now i have tried to provoke the program to lock itself, but it works as good as it should... =)

Strange... Now it happened twice in a row (probably because I wrote that everything was ok).

...and now its OK again, have done everything exactly the same when I have restarted it.

Even stranger: Now one of the scenes froze by itself after a couple of minutes.

What I also have noticed is that "live" does not autostart and "maximizes" although I have
checked the boxes under "preferences". Last night it did both.

I woulld definitely let someone look at, and test your computer.
Freezing like that is either, a memory error, processor overheating, power supply voltages, or just simply a virus.
