I've been using a physical controller for about 10 years with no problem. Saw the Show express at the AC Expo and brought one home with me.
I'm having a little trouble though...
First, what is "screen control"? All I see is a blank black box.
Second, in the editor screen, on the right, why do I have like 20 fixtures there right out of the box? How do I delete them?
I know it's an antique, but does anyone have a file for the old omega 155?
Many more questions to follow...
Newbie Questions
Re: Newbie Questions
ScreenControl is the window which plays the media files. When not used, just minimize or close it.
To create a new "blank" lightshow: right click in ControlBoard > select menu "Settings" > click on "New lightshow" > enter a name and press "ok" > select the new lightshow in the drop down list > press "Valid"
We can make the library of your fixture, if you follow this: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=111

The Lighting Controller
Re: Newbie Questions
Thanks for the quick reply, support...
Another question... When creating a scene, what effect does the time have on each step, in relation to BPM when I'm running it live? I'm using a MAC, and I see that audio detection isn't available.
I think I was able to set up my omega 155 from scratch, but in 3D view it is nothing more than a single beam pointing at the floor. What do I need to do to make it move? I selected moving head for it...

Re: Newbie Questions
Please be patient ; we asked Allan to make the personality file for you. But he just come back from DJ Expo show in Atlantic City.
Afterwards, you could make several tests with different scenes.

Re: Newbie Questions
Which folder do I put it in if I'm using a MAC? I tried dragging it to a few different locations, and not the fixture won't do anything...
Re: Newbie Questions
Watching the Mikey Mike video and I'm completely lost. WTF is a builder screen?
All I have on my live page is a big blank sheet of white with my rgb show in little letters in the middle. The play /pause button on the top right does nothing but turn on and off gray when I click on it. Wtf am I missing? DMX light is green, and so is the 3D...
Very frustrating to say the least. I hooked up my old elation controller to see if there is anything wrong with my fixtures and there isn't, I'm totally ready to return this and do it the way that you don't need a freeking phd to figure it out. Please help.

Re: Newbie Questions
Hi the mike video is from an older version, builder screen is now editor, just another name and some new funtions
I use the windows version, the mac version should do almost the same.
U should start with going to setup and program ure fixtures ( pars, scanners, movingheads ore whatever u want)
See also the manual
Close setup
Open editor,if u programmed the fixtures right u see them in the right top square
Click on 1fixture to sellect it
Now u see in the bottom the corrisponding sliders( to see the lights click on 3d and open the 3d screen
If u want to see the real lights hooked them up and press the dmx button
If u move the faders it works the same as ure conventiol desk.
For more funtions see the manual
Save a scene for using it in live
Open live
Now u have an empty sqaure
Right click on the empty button or click ad lightscene
Now if u push this button and dmx/3d is aktive the scene starts playing
For more funtions see the manual
The play/pauze key is for starting multiple scenes,
Push it ( turn grey)
Now select al scenes u want to start at the same time
Push it again and they start
