UI Suggestion - dark instead of standard white/grays

I was at a show this weekend and was running ShowXpress with 3 monitors and the stage is about 250 feet away from me and i have to blackout the stage a lot. I find myself turning the lcd screens brightness way down. I also design using Photoshop and noticed in their new version (CS6), they made a new improvement to the UI that I find myself liking more and more. They made the UI dark instead of the standard white/grays. I would like to recommend that for ShowXpress, maybe a dark UI option. Thanks!

Not easy because using standard Operating System gadgets (color usually can not be changed).
Regarding buttons, you can set dark colors for background.

Changing the button color and/or inserting button graphics really helps me.
