Macro > Presets with specified timings and fade

Post by Pink LD »

Support,
So I have got Macros working with Presets as long as the Preset scene has an instant or square transition. If I give any step of my scene a smooth/sloped transition that step of the scene the Preset no longer works on that step.
Again Presets work as expected when the transition is square and an instant attack. And the Presets work with Macros as I was expecting. However Presets do not work for any step of a scene that has a smooth transition.
So should I expect that Presets would work with specified timings and smooth transitions? Or can Presets only work with instant square transitions?

I am between gigs/calls in a hotel room just testing this real quick. It did what I expected. I made a 5 step Preset with curved/sloped fade times of 2/10ths of a second and then made 5 Macros to each Preset step and it worked.
The only thing I noticed was that I could not click on the Preset slider with my mouse and drag the slider to where I wanted.
Still I can click to the left or right of the Preset slider to move it. And the right click drop menu to select the Preset step I wanted worked fine. So I can work with that for now and press ahead with programming what I want for now.
Thanks again Niffo!
