Controlboard malfunction [fixed]

Post by rbekel »

I have 2 different sets of 4 fixtures. Each of the 8 fixtures have a unique DMX address. I have a page set up with each group turning on various colors. Each separately work well. But when I turn on a color with one group, and then turn on the same color with the second group; the second one will turn off the first group. What is going on? It happened on a show I had way back from version 5 and was converted to version 6. So I created a whole new show and now it's doing the same thing? Is there a maximum number of buttons that you can put on a page? I think in this case both pages has 15 buttons on them. I then set up a new page using macros to turn both groups on a certain color. The same thing happens when I try using the macro button say to turn both groups in Red or Blue or Green. Can you tell me what is happening?

In my above senerio both sets of lights are RGB LED Pars. Flat Par Tri7X ,and MegaPar Profiles. Both lights use the same exact dmx settings for all 7 channels. so your saying that if a channel is totally off or at the Zero position that it should be low lighted and not be green?
