It's not the ideal solution though. It makes for much simpler programming and show operation if you just have to press "next", there is less to go wrong and it would save allot on programming time. You also have to have some time go by in timeline in order to reach the pause, If I cue for every note in a series of brass stabs they can go past very quickly, so you have to place a pause ridiculously close to the scene. It is also quite hard to read the show after a while as the labels disappear under one-another.

Do you see what I mean?

Not really. It seems that our understanding of "Theatre" is different.
I do not see any difference in pressing a "Play/Pause" or "Next" button being any different.

One thing I would like to see in "Live" is being able to view TimeLine and Boards at the same time.

If, for example, I have to light http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzPzF1LNZLM I will be going through cues at an amazing rate. If I were to do this in timeline, then a) it is quite hard to get the scene change at exactly after I press play b) the timeline gets VERY hard to read c)If I am using the same scene allot (scene 1, scene 2, scene 1, scene 2, scene 1, scene 2....) it gets quite time consuming putting each one in the right place with a pause in the right place after it, if I want to have only the first instance of scene 1 to fade in then I have to make a new scene called scene 0 that is a fade in version of scene 1 (like wise any where else that I want a fade). The screen featured in the first post would allow all of this to happen in a much more user friendly manner.

Does that make any more sense?

I still do not understand your problem, as this is set piece with no time fluctations.
With a half-decent audio editor, exact times of scene changes can be noted and programmed using Editor to program lighting changes for each song.
I must admit that the current TimeLine is an archaic interface, and a table similar to Editor would work better.

That is where I am not making my self clear, sorry. I am working with live musicians, or live actors, so nothing ever happens at the same time; but the show is "the same" every time.

Jerry & I did another ShowXpress install yesterday and our client was concerned that a cue list is not currently available. We made the software work for their current needs, but for the software to be a useful long-term solution, this feature needs to be seriously considered. We run into this concern from our clients more and more.
Thanks for all your hard work support!

Just to reiterate what everyone else above me has stated, a cuelist feature would be a great addition to the software !

Please add me to list of people who want this feature. This would help greatly in my church. Both of our other techs are really clamoring for up and down fade times and sometype of next/previous cue button would alleviate the potential problem on unloading scenes in solo mode instantly.
