I can't seem to get the multiple step duration change feature to work properly. In my example, I have 6 steps in my scene that all have a duration of 0.2 seconds - adding up to a total of 1.2 seconds. By changing the total to 4.8 and answering yes to the prompt to recalculate, I expect all steps to change to 0.8 seconds, but instead they all change to 0.03 seconds with total of 0.18 seconds.
Can you verify and if appropriate add this to the To-Do list?
Thank you!
Edit Duration of Multiple Steps Not Working Properly [fixed]
Re: Edit Duration of Multiple Steps Not Working Properly
We did this:
- new scene
- set duration of step1 to 0.2s
- click on "add step" five times
- change total duration from 1.2 to 4.8s
And it works here: all steps have new duration of 0.8s.
(with current software version)
- new scene
- set duration of step1 to 0.2s
- click on "add step" five times
- change total duration from 1.2 to 4.8s
And it works here: all steps have new duration of 0.8s.

Re: Edit Duration of Multiple Steps Not Working Properly
OK, I just figured this issue out.
If you enter the new total and click anywhere in the step part of the screen, it prompts you and recalculates the length of each step properly.
However, if you click on an existing step after entering the total, it will use the length of the step you just clicked on as the total and prompt you with the "Recalculate all step lengths?" dialogue box. Pressing yes will take that step length and divide it by the number of steps - giving you a total roughly equal to the step you selected. (e.g. 6 step scene with each step at 2.0 seconds having a total changed to 24.0 sec should result in 6 steps of 4.0 seconds each. Clicking an existing 2.0 second step after entering the total of 24 makes each step 0.33 (2.0/6 steps) long.
This is certainly not a big problem, but if you can add it to the To-Do list for a future release, I would appreciate it!
