Hi all,
Recently purchased a new Surface to run ShowXpress off.
The specs are;
Microsoft Surface Pro - 11th Edition
Snapdragon(R) X 12-core 3.40GHz
64 bit operating system
16GB RAM
Windows 11
Whenever I try to manually install the drivers for the Xpress 512S I keep getting the error "Windows was unable to install your D512S - Windows could not find drivers for your device."
Any help or guidance here would be really helpful.
Thanks

Re: Xpress512S driver issues - help please...
Sorry, but regarding the OS "Windows", our product works exclusively on PC based on x86 and x64 processors (Intel and AMD).

Ah dang... my bad for not checking. Will Chauvet eventually support this processor??
Re: Xpress512S driver issues - help please...
We are presently not able to generate a program for this processor under Windows.
And we do not think this will be possible in a near future.
Sorry for that.

Re: Microsoft Surface Pro > Xpress512S driver issues
FYI, you could try the "Windows 32bit (x86)" version of the software because normally Windows ARM is able to run applications for this type of processor
Re: Microsoft Surface Pro > Xpress512S driver issues
Oven try running it in compatibility mode for something like Windows 7.
Right-click: program icon and choose "Properties".
Select the Compatibility tab .
Check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" box .
Pick an older version of Windows from the dropdown list.
Click "Apply" and then "OK" .
May or may not work, but if stuck with what you bought, its certainly worth trying. If it does work let us know please?
