Scanners not moving smoothly (Dell AMD Sempron)

Hey Forum.

I'm running 4 Chauvet Intimidator Scan LED's with a D512 box and the 6.26 software on a Dell PC with AMD SempronTM II V160 (2.4GHz/0.5MB cache processor. My problem is that my scanners move very "choppy" and it doesn't look very smooth. When i run them on my MacBook laptop its WAY better. Is this a Windows problem with V6.26 that could be fixed by updating to V6.27? or is it a known AMD processor issue?

I would suggest trying the 6.27 beta to see if it has already been fixed. Also perhaps play about with settings-other-streaming frequency. That's all I can think of for now. Support will be able to answer your question properly.

We did not change anything regarding this in 6.27beta.
For this, the source code is same for Windows and MacOS.
We do not see any reason in our software to move scanners better under MacOS than under Windows.
