Showtec Quick DMX D512 Plus USB Interface

Hallo Zusammen,

ich habe eine Frage zu dem Showtec Quick DMX D512 Plus USB Interface. Bisher arbeiten wir mit dem "normalen" DMX D512 USB Interface. Nun recherchieren wir gerade nach einer Stand Alone Lösung. Da die Wegstrecke für eine Verbindung mit einem USB Anschluss (von Interface zu einem Rak) zu weit ist und auch die baulichen Gegebenheiten vor Ort für ein "Quick DMX Rack 1024" nicht ausreichen, sind wir auf das D512 Plus Interface aufmerksam geworden. Laut Beschreibung soll dies ja eigenständig bis zu 10 Szenen (für eine Standartbeleuchtung) speichern und im Falle eines Verbindungsverlustes zum PC im Stand Alone Modus starten können. Zudem wäre die Ansteuerung über eine IR Fernbedienung möglich.

Nun ist dieses Interface nirgendwo mehr lieferbar und scheint aus dem Sortiment genommen worden zu sein. Hierzu nun die Fragen:

Wird dieses Interface noch vertrieben?
Wenn nicht, gibt es einen Nachfolger, welches die Stand Alone Funktion ebenfalls beinhaltet?

Sorry but the interface QuickDmxD512Plus is discontinued, and the only interface able to play several scenes is the interface Rack1024.

Thanks for your answer. This is a pity. Can you tell me why the D512 Plus is discontinued? Does it not work good, or does nobody use it?

This interface is borned in year 2009.
After 10 year, not easy to get the main processor.
Moreover, new chips are better and cheaper.
And then a global survey told us that people prefer a rack mounted interface for a similar price.
